[music |'That Mitchell & Webb Sound' Series 2]

The Weekend magazine in today's Guardian is a comedy issue. It's relevant to lots of LJ communities I'm a member of, so I may as well just type out all the names of the featured comedians instead of editing this for every community until I get bored, wander off and never post it.

Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Johnny Vegas, Jimmy Carr, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Matt Lucas, David Walliams, Sacha Baron Cohen, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Meera Syal, Russell Brand, Jocelyn Lee Esien, David Mitchell, Robert Webb, Alan Carr, Mark Heap, Oliver Chris, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Stephen Mangan, Rob Brydon, Julian Barratt, Noel Fielding, Lee Mack, Laura Solon, Tim Vine, Jason Byrne, Dave Gorman

There are pictures and interviews with all of the above.

Last night I started mitchell_webb, so please join if you're a fan. Ta.

Damn. I missed it. Would it be worth paying £8 for through the Guardian Back Issues department? How much of Alan Carr, Lee Mack, Tim Vine and Lason Byrne is in it? I'm quite surprised that they decided to go with a lot of names people already know. It would have been a great opportunity for them to promote those comedians who need the column inches. There are lots of stand-ups on the circuit that should have been included.
